Northern Superior is a junior exploration company exploring for gold in the Superior Province of the Canadian Shield, specifically in the Provinces of Québec and Ontario in the Chibougamau- Chapais and Stull- Wunnumin gold districts respectively.
Northern Superior’s unique and effective approach to exploration, of using overburden materials as an exploration medium, has led to gold and diamond discovery’s on the Company’s Ti-pa-haa-kaa-ning (TPK) (gold- northwestern Ontario), Croteau Est (gold- west central Quebec), Lac Surprise (gold- west Central Quebec) and Ville Marie (diamonds- west central Quebec) properties. In addition, Northern Superior has compiled almost a terabyte of geoscientific data, from which the Company has developed its next generation of exploration projects- all within the province of Québec.
Northern Superior takes its corporate social responsibilities seriously, engaging effectively with the Communities within which it works. This includes engaging in exploration agreements with First Nation stakeholders such as Neskantaga First Nation (Ontario- Early Exploration Benefits Agreement) and Oujé Bougoumou, the Cree Regional Authority and the Grand Council of the Cree (Québec- Pre-development agreement). In Sudbury, where Northern Superior’s corporate offices are located, the Company is an active member of the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, has representation on the Laurentian University’s Mineral Exploration Research Centre’s board of directors and the current president of the Company is the past president of the Sudbury Chapter of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.
The Company has been granted a number of prestigious awards for its excellent management and exploration successes, including: a) recognition as a 2011 TSX Venture Top 50 Company; b) granted the 2011 Ontario Business Achievement Award for Corporate Governance; c) received the 2012 AEMQ Prospector of the Year award; and d) accepted in 2013 and 2014 as a member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.

Board of Directors
Andrew Farncomb is a founder of Cairn Merchant Partners LP, an independent merchant bank that invests and offers advisory services to public and private companies. Prior to forming Cairn, Mr. Farncomb was a Partner at Paradigm Capital, a Canadian investment bank focused on small to medium sized companies. Prior to joining Paradigm Capital, Mr. Farncomb held a business development role at a consumer goods company in Hong Kong. Mr. Farncomb is a member of the Board of Directors of several TSX Venture Exchange listed and private companies. Mr. Farncomb graduated from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree and received the Merrill Lynch Scholarship.
Sidney Himmel B.Sc, B.A., was previously President & CEO of IC Potash Corp. and Chairman of the Board of Namaste Technologies Inc. He was also President of two other industrial mineral development companies traded on the TSX. His career has involved working as tax specialist with a major international accounting firm, a corporate finance specialist with international investment dealers, and as an institutional equity trader and salesman. His experience also included working as in equity investment analyst. His financial experience has included raising substantial amounts of equity funding for a variety of public and private companies including a variety of resource companies.
John Kiernan is a Mining Engineer with over 30 years of mine operating, engineering, consulting, corporate and financial experience, including a cumulative four years as an underground miner and operating foreman. He was most recently VP Project Development for Magellan Minerals (acquired by Anfield Gold Corp), and is also a director of Kapuskasing Gold Ltd. Previously he was Manager Project Evaluation for QuadraFNX/ KGHM International, Mining Analyst for PI Financial Corp and VP Mining/Mine Manager for Roca Mines Inc. In the period from 1987 to 2006, Mr. Kiernan held various senior engineering positions with Strathcona Mineral Services, Inco Ltd., Wardrop and AMEC. Mr. Kiernan has a B.Sc in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University, and an MBA from Laurentian University.
François Perron is presently Vice-President at Renmark Financial Communications. Prior to that, Mr. Perron was the President and Chief Executive Officer of QMX Gold Corporation and was previously the President and Chief Executive Officer of Golden Goose Resources. Prior to joining Golden Goose Resources, Mr. Perron was involved in the financial markets as a portfolio manager. He managed resource focused portfolios for NBC Alternative Investments and various resource funds for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec from 2001 to 2007. In 2006, he was recognized by Brendan Woods International as a Top Gun Asset Manager in Mining. He has a Bachelor of Science, Computer science from McMaster University (1986) and an MBA from the Hautes Etudes Commerciales which he obtained in 1992. Mr. Perron has been on the board of several junior resource companies, and currently is on the board of Goldstar Minerals.
Arthur (Art) Murdy
Mr. Murdy spent the first half of his career as an exploration geologist beginning with Patino Mines in the Chibougamau area of Québec, before moving to exploration project management with Canadian Occidental Petroleum in Saskatchewan then with Noramco in northwestern Ontario and Québec. Mr. Murdy subsequently took on the responsibility of establishing a Canadian Division for NaviDrill, before joining Bradley Brothers Drilling first as a contract manager, then general manager and finally as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Murdy finished his career as Business Development Manager for Major Drilling.
Thomas F. Morris
Dr. Morris (President and CEO) is a registered, Professional Geoscientist with 30 years of experience, successfully managing and making mineral discovery on a variety of exploration programs for provincial and federal governments, private sector and publicly traded companies. Under his management, Northern Superior was recognized as one of the top 50 companies listed on the TSX-V (2011), was awarded the Ontario Business Achievement Award for Corporate Governance (2011), was awarded the Quebec Prospector of the Year Award by the Association de L’Exploration Minière du Québec (2012) and attained Progressive Aboriginal Relations “Par Committed” status from the Canadian Counsel for Aboriginal Business (2013, 2014). Dr. Morris has also obtained the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designation.

Dr. Morris was appointed President and CEO of Superior Diamonds in July 2007, at which time he refocused that Company’s exploration from diamonds to gold, rebranded and renamed Superior Diamonds, Northern Superior Resources Inc. Under Dr. Morris’ exploration and guidance, several significant gold and diamond discoveries have occurred. Under Dr. Morris’ management, Northern Superior in 2011 was recognized as one of the top 50 companies listed on the TSX-V, awarded the Ontario Business Achievement Award for Corporate Governance and in 2012 was awarded the Quebec Prospector of the Year Award by the Association de L’Exploration Minière du Québec. Dr. Morris has obtained the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designation.
Daniel A. Rothberg - Corporate Secretary
Mr. Daniel Rothberg is a partner at Basmin Smith LLP, a full service law firm in Toronto. Mr. Rothberg graduated with a B. Comm. (Hons.) from the University of Manitoba majoring in finance and earned his LLB from the University of British Columbia in 2003. Mr. Rothberg has practiced Corporate Finance and securities law with a focus on the resource sector for over 18 years, both in Vancouver and Toronto and has been legal counsel to the Company since 2008.
Jeannine Webb - Chief Financial Officer
Jeannine Webb is a chartered professional accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of extensive financial experience in the resources industry. She is the Chief Financial Officer of various mining companies (including Abacus Mining & Exploration Corp. and Maritime Resources Corp.) and a Director of China Minerals Mining Corporation. Since 2008, through her company, Venturex Consulting, she has acted as CFO and provided financial management services to junior public resource issuers. Until 2007, Ms. Webb was a partner of Badger & Co. Management Corp., a private company which provided a full range of financial, corporate and geological management services to junior private and public mineral exploration companies. During this time, Ms. Webb served as CFO and Corporate Secretary for companies under management with Badger & Co., as well as Director for various companies
